The TP-Link RE705X is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 range extender designed to eliminate dead zones and expand wireless coverage using 802.11ax technology. It delivers combined speeds of up to 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 300 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The device includes a single Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing it to function as a wireless bridge for wired devices like smart TVs or game consoles, or as a dedicated access point in AP mode. It is compatible with EasyMesh and OneMesh standards to create seamless mesh networks when paired with compatible routers.
