The Gewiss GW44204 is a surface-mounting watertight junction box from the Range 44 CE, with internal dimensions of 100×100×50mm and external dimensions of 109×109×58mm. Moulded in self-extinguishing, halogen-free GWPLAST 75 technopolymer in grey RAL 7035, it is rated IP56 to IEC 60529 for use in damp and dusty environments. The walls are smooth, allowing cable entries to be drilled on site up to Ø29mm, and the plain lid is secured with four stainless steel screws. The box carries an IK08 impact rating, a glow-wire rating of 650°C and Class II insulation, and operates from −25°C to +60°C. It conforms to EN 60670-1 and IEC 60670-22, and carries CE and UKCA marking.
